Pastor Randy Maass

The Country Church is the only church our pastor Randy Maass has ever served.  A 2008 graduate of Sioux Falls Seminary, Pastor Randy filled the pulpit for us a week before he graduated and has never left.  Married to Kathleen for almost 30 years, Randy grew up in the Mennonite Brethren church and spent several years as a corporate trainer before entering seminary.  As a 20-year member of Central Baptist Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Randy served as elder, adult Sunday school teacher and was part of the leadership team in their discipleship ministry.  Pastor Randy also serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Homiletics (preaching) and Christian Ministry at Sioux Falls Seminary.

Randy and Kathleen’s son Zac recently graduated from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently participating in the family practice residency in Mankato Minnesota.  Zac is married to Kayse who is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan.

Aside from preaching and teaching, Pastor Randy’s spiritual gifts tend toward generosity and faith.  Collaborative by nature, Pastor Randy is perpetually enthusiastic and obnoxiously optimistic.
